Tell us about your place

  • A few quick questions. Home, vacation rental or business, the address, the size, what condition it's in right now (a photo helps), the kind of clean and how often.
  • A rough estimate right away. You see a range, like "About $X–$Y", the moment you send it. It's not your price yet. Businesses get a quote instead.
  • No card needed yet. You don't pay or book anything at this step.

A real person sets your price

  • A MopHop lead looks over what you sent. Your lead is the person who runs MopHop in your area. They set one price per kind of clean, not an algorithm.
  • You get an email the moment it's ready, and a card on My Cleans with your price.
  • That's the price you book at. Add-ons like the oven or inside windows go on top, with a running total.
More about this step
  • We like to start with a deep clean our most thorough clean, which makes regular upkeep easier. It's suggested, never forced.
  • If your price ever changes, we email you first.

Book it once, or on repeat

  • Pick the day and time, at least a day ahead. Need it today? Email us and we'll try.
  • Repeat it every week, every two weeks or every month, and see every date before you book.
  • Rentals: sync your Airbnb or VRBO calendar. A turnover lines up after every checkout, with your next guest's check-in time on it.

See who's coming

  • Your lead assigns your crew, and you see each Hopper's first name and photo. Hoppers are what we call our cleaners. Bigger places can get two.
  • Your card is held for the total the day before. Nothing is charged yet.
  • One chat for the whole clean. You, your crew and your MopHop lead in one place.
More about this step
  • Your address and door details go to your crew 24 hours before, not sooner.
  • You choose if they can start early: no, 10 or 20 minutes.

Watch it happen, without asking

  • "On the way," "Cleaning now," "Done." Every step comes to your phone as it happens.
  • Running late? You hear about it before you'd have to ask.
  • Room by room. Your crew works through a checklist for every room you picked.

Photos first, then the charge

  • Photos of every room you picked. The kitchen and every bathroom, always. The clean isn't done until they're in.
  • "What your crew did", room by room, from their checklist.
  • Then your card is charged, once, and a receipt lands in your email.

Every place organized. Every receipt together.

  • Set each place up once: where the supplies are, linens, house notes and a cover photo.
  • A monthly statement for each place, ready at tax time, plus a receipt for every clean.
  • Book again in one tap, at the same price and the same time, when nothing has changed.

How pricing works

BallparkA rounded range from your place's size. Try it at the top of this page, or see it right after you ask. It helps you plan; it isn't your quote.
Your priceSet by your MopHop lead for each kind of clean. It's what you book at. Businesses get a written quote.
Add-onsExtras like the oven, fridge or inside windows. Each shows its price before you book, with a running total.
If it changesIf your place changes and your price needs to change, we email you first.

Canceling and changes

Simple, and the same for everyone.

24 HOURS OR MORE AHEAD
Free

Cancel any time up to 24 hours before the clean and nothing is charged.

INSIDE 24 HOURS
Half price

Once a Hopper is assigned, canceling inside 24 hours costs half of that clean's total (add-ons and pet fee included). No Hopper assigned yet? Still free.

CREW CAN'T GET IN
30 minutes

If your crew is locked out, you have 30 minutes to let them in. After that, a MopHop lead may charge the full price.

Good to know

Who are the Hoppers?

Hoppers are MopHop's cleaners. Each one applied with references, passed a background check and was approved by a MopHop lead. They're on MopHop's payroll.

Do you clean in my town?

We clean in Bandon, Coos Bay, North Bend, Coquille, Myrtle Point, Port Orford, Langlois and Charleston, Oregon, and anywhere within about an hour of Bandon. Not sure you're close enough? Ask for a quote with your address and your MopHop lead will tell you if we can reach you, usually within a day. Farther out? We take on select jobs beyond our usual area, so it's still worth asking. Want us in your town? Join the list and we'll tell you when we get there.

When is my card charged?

The total is held the day before and charged only once the clean is done and the photos are in.

Can I ask for the same Hopper?

Yes. After a clean you can say you want them again.

Do you clean businesses?

Yes: offices, shops, restaurants, studios and more. Tell us what you need and a lead sends you a quote.

What if something goes wrong?

Report it with photos right from the clean, within 48 hours. It goes straight to MopHop and a lead works it out with you.

Three minutes to ask.

Tell us about your place and we'll email you your price, usually within a day. No card until you book.
